A cup and cover in the antique style, the finial of a carved moonstone in the form of Minerva’s head. The foot is enamelled with the letters X.B for Christoss Voskress (Christ is risen). The cup was specifically intended to be used for the traditional presentation of an egg on Easter morning. It was produced in the workshop of Erik Kollin (1836-1901), who specialised in revivalist pieces in gold.
