One of at least three shire horses modelled as part of the Sandringham commission. Thought to be a portrait model of the champion Field Marshal, but it could represent another shire stallion Hoe Forest King, a model of which was purchased from Fabergé's Lonadon branch in 1909. Unmarked RCIN 40412
